Simply mix the beets with a combination of other fruits and vegetables, such as carrots, oranges or mint. Not only is it a nutrient-rich drink, but it also helps in detoxifying the body.
2. Beetroot Paratha
This recipe can give your traditional parathas a nutritious twist. Grate the beetroot and mix it with wheat flour, spices and herbs of your choice. Roll out the dough and fry it in a pan. These reddish parathas can be a vibrant addition to your breakfast or lunch menu.
